All files in Creative Cloud are missing

Question

I am a college student whose adobe account has been given to by the college. Recently, i had gotten signed out from my account and i lost access to all of my cloud documents. Upon signing in and getting access to the account back, all of my cloud files have been missing!

The IT department of the college couldn't figure out the issue either. I have lost all of my college work now. Please tell me how to get them back.

back up all your files locally so you're never in this position again.

reset the cc desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

the open your cc web site in your browser.
