All my documents are lost

Normally I Store my documents on my flash/thumb drive but I just had so many files that I kept over the years on Adobe. So that's why I'm kind of bummed that I don't know where they are now and Apple support was not too supportive. They're the ones who instructed me how to and what to do as far as downloading from the iCloud and downloading my apps manually to the new phone
