Any way for my cloud files to not be saved locally

I want to use creative cloud to backup my computer in case something happens however in the middle of the backup I relized the files were being saved locally. I was wondering if there was any way I can stop the files from being saved locally with them still being accessible in the file explorer. If there isn't is there any way I can still move files from my C: drive through command prompt/ .BAT files?

that's not the way (backup) cc storage is intended to be used.  it's intended for file sharing, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/about-cloud-documents.html

use dropbox or onedrive or some other service for backing up files.  (and it's not prudent to have important files online, only.)

I use a Sata docking station and several 'bare' drives for backup
