app updating issue HELP am i wasting my money???????? my apps wont update

Question

I have a macbook pro Mid 2012 running on Catalina 10.15.7 with upgraded memory and hard drive. I cant seem to update my CC apps to the latest version and I noticed its saying it needs an IOS of 11 or greater.

Does this mean I am wasting my money paying for apps I cant use??? Any sensible ideas are welcomed please.

you can use the older apps with an older os like catalina.

to use more current apps, you need a more current os. ie, if you want the latest, update your os to os (not ios) 11.

p.s. it would be better to wait on os 12 right now. there are still some glitches, https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/macos-ventura-compatability-common-issues.html
