Available space in the Creative Cloud keeps on accumulating!?

Is there a way to reset the cloud space storage so it shows what's actually stored online?

I had around 35 GB online. Because of a reorganization I removed EVERYTHING and still the amount of used space was shown as 35 GB. Very odd.

I then started to add new projects to the cloud storage but to my horror everything is being added up to that 35 GB...! I am at 50 GB right now while there actually only is around 15 GB online!

If things continue like this the number will show 100 in a few weeks and then what...? Then I won't be able to add files anymore?

Can anyone tell me how to solve this?
