Browser upload problem

I'm having problems reliably uploading to my cc assets page, via Chrome and Safari. I need to use browsers when working away from my computer to share files with myself and others, as a backup to a hard drive.

Smaller jpegs seem ok, but psd, zip fail after a few minutes. The progress bar appears, but when I check back, after a few minutes, it's gone, but no file has uploaded.

It's more reliable when loading files one by one, but this isn't a great workflow.

Files are typically 60-500mb.

Both browsers fail, either drag and drop, or via the 'Upload' button

This happens at 2 different locations, one ethernet connection, one wireless.

Uploading to ie Google drive, or  Apple iCloud, both work flawlessly.

  • yes

  • the wireless location is 60 down, 4.3 up, wired location is faster. EDIT 71 down, 18 up

  • Are you behind a proxy (Y/N):
  • no

  • Are you using Firewall (None/Corporate/Local):
  • no

  • Do you log onto a domain?
  • no

  • Location where issue occurred (City, Country):
  • London UK

EDIT

Sorry forgot this;

CC version 4.4.1.298

Mac os Sierra on one, El Capitan on the other

I have noticed that if I use the 'Upload' button via the 'Actions' drop down menu on the upper right of the page, uploading is reliable.

So maybe it's an issue with drag and drop, and the upload link button 'Or upload from your computer' that appears when a folder is empty. See below. I'll avoid using them.
