Can I save my editing progress while creating my Adobe Portfolio?

Hi everyone,

I'm struggling to find an answer to this question online, so maybe someone on here could help me out:

Do I have to publish my Adobe Portfolio website for it to be saved or does it save automatically (or is there an option to save it manually), so that I have the option to close it during the editing process and to come back to it later or continue to edit it at another time without publishing the website?
