Can no longer use CC since OS Catalina upgrade

I had to upgrade my OS to Catalina. As a result, my CC applications (2019) stopped working. Now Creative Cloud launches and takes me to the apple store where I can buy the latest CC applications, but they don't run on Catalina...

I'm frustrated to have lost access to software that I purchased. Can I do anything about this? I see in other forums that 2019 can no longer be purchased. 

I am a hobbyist and can't afford another monthly subscription service for the occasional use.
