Can't permanently delete files from "Deleted" folder

I've got about 8GB of files in my "deleted" folder and I can't permanently delete them. I select them all then select "Permanently delete". It hangs there for a second and refreshes with error code "412". Note that files are all "XD" files. Other formats seem to delete fine.
