Can't share creative cloud files anymore, what's the problem?

Ever since the creative cloud files -platform was changed, I can not seem to be able to share any of my files there. The link is formed normally and everything seems to be in order in my end, but when i pass the link forward, no one can get the link open normally. They just get a blank page without any file. So the link basically works, but there is no file to be downloaded, just blank page. What is going on?

Hi Sini,

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. I have a few additional questions to better understand.

  • Is the file you're sharing one which is part of a collaboration? Collaboration FAQ
  • Could you post an example link? I'd like to see if I get the same result with the blank screen
  • Does this occur regardless of the type of file? What type of file are you attempting to share?

Please get back to me when you get the chance and I'll see what I can do to help.

Thanks,

- Dave

Hi,

thank you for your answer. No, those are not part of collaboration if I understand the question right, just individual assets (files, folders), for instance a pdf file or a photo of which I try to send a link forward. It used to work without problems. For instance this: Adobe Creative Cloud (jpeg) or Adobe Creative Cloud  (pdf file).

It happens regardless of the type of the file.

Thanks again for your help

Hi Sini,

Could you get it to work? I have the same problem where I create a link on my end but when I copy the link to a browser I just get a 'Server Not Found' message.

Thanks,

Andy
