Question

Cancelation and free trial

Dear adobe and the community.

This is my first time using free 7 days trial and it's about to expire. I got the plan on December 2nd but here's what confuses me. So does it expire on the 8th day (Dec 10th) or 7th (Dec 9th)? I thought I had to cancel before the 7th day so I don't get charged but apparently I can wait an extra 14 days before Adobe charges me with penalty, which makes it 21 days of a free trial. Honestly I don't even have enough money on my card so I'm not sure how does that even work considering the 7 day trial is about to expire and I'm not sure when to actually cancel the plan. If anyone can explain to me and inform me on this subject I would very much appreciate it. I'm a bit concerned so I don't know if I should cancel the plan like immediately or what. Ty in advance

You do not have 14 MORE days... you have 14 days to cancel or the trial becomes a subscription, and then you pay a fee of 1/2 of the remaining time if you cancel early

If you don't have money to pay, you should cancel SOON

To Cancel https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-creative-cloud-subscription.html
-READ THIS https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html#cancel
-do be aware that cancelling early means paying 1/2 of the remaining subscription time as a fee
--this is cancelling AFTER the trial converts to paid and BEFORE the end of the subscription
-or have Adobe support cancel your subscription using the "autoOpen" Chat link below

Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link
Do be aware that Adobe's staffing is impacted by the virus, so wait times are long
-you MUST make sure that your browser does NOT block ads, scripts, or pop-ups
-you MUST also allow 'cookies' in your web browser for the link to work
This link will go directly to the chat option
Type "Agent" in the chat box to bypass the chatbot and be connected to a person
-Meaning type in the word Agent without the quote " " marks

Thank you for a fast reply.

What do you exactly mean by "you should cancel soon"?

My 7 days free trial started on December 2nd, so I'm not sure if I can still use the plan tomorrow (December 9th) or should I cancel today, on the December 8th? There's a mention of December 10th which is the date when reccuring billing begins, so according to my understanding I can still use the plan on 9th and also cancel it the same day.

I'm guessing waiting 14 days to cancel is out of the option then.

On day 8, your 7 day free trial automatically becomes a paid plan and your payment card will be billed for the first month of service.

You have a 14 day grace period in which to cancel and request a refund.

If you can't afford Creative Cloud and had no intention of actually paying for it, why on Earth did you install the software and give Adobe your  credit/debit card to bill?  🙄
