Cannot justify annual CC subscription

I use Adobe CC (mainly Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) in my work but only on an ad hoc basis.

Can anyone suggest a (less expensive) solution to the monthly c.£50 subscription?

Is there a way that I can dip in and out of CC as and when I need it?

The annual subscription, paid monthly, is discounted and therefore has a cancellation fee if cancelled before the year is up.

There is also a monthly subscription at full price that you can use for one month at a time and cancel without penalty. This is the plan for "dipping in and out of CC" that you are asking about.
