Cannot Save to External Drive

I can no longer save my files from Adobe products to my external harddrive. I can save other files directly to my external, I can save, then move my adobe files from iMac to the external.

External drive is not corrupted, this is my home computer and have write permissions. I did not change any settings anywhere before this issue began. 

 

Any ideas where to start troubleshooting? Much thanks
