CC File Storage Doesn't Support .png??

Hello,

I've been testing out the Creative Cloud to utilize for file storage and collaboration for our remote team. However, to my dismay, I have found that it does not support PNg or JPG files.

CC Libraries supports .png files, but is not intended for "storage".

Adobe sync supports .png files, but as we all know, that's going away.

So, what's the solution here? Will Adobe allow more file types in CC File Storage since Sync is going away?

I am befuddled as to why and how a "cloud based storage solution" doesn't allow such basic image file types.

Hi @Marley C.,

For more information on the Discontinuation of Creative Cloud Synced files for business plans please check this article and let us know if that helps: - https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/eol-cc-synced-files-for-business-plans.html

Thanks for your reply. This pretty much sums up the actual answer:

The solution is that there is no solution. Adobe lists Creative Coud as an alternative, which is not in fact an alternative since it's limited to only native file types. Ultimately, Adobe suggests that you to find a different third-party cloud-based storage solution (I.E. DropBox, Google Drive, etc.)

adobe's non-sync folder file solutions are for product/app specific files, not general files.

Thank you for your definition of non-sync file solutions. However, it falls short of addressing the main point of my discussion.

Adobe is getting rid of sync, with no plan to replace the benefits of that program. What is the solution for remote marketing teams that need to easily store, share and collaborate on files?

unless adobe changes something related to the cc files it's not terminating, you'll need a non-cc solution.
