Question

CC is the most frustrating technical experience I've ever had, and I will not be renewing

Really frustrated with Adobe CC. I've tried illustrator, audition, premiere pro and premiere pro rush. Everything is beyond user unfriendly- they make new obstacles to the user, like making up their own names for things instead of using commonly known names. When I spend hours just trying to figure out how to delete or rename a project in premiere pro, and still can't figure it out. When I've wasted an entire morning trying to find a way to contact adobe to tell them how unhappy I am- you know it's poor design and even poorer customer service. The programs are either so ridiculously complicated that you would have to devote a decade to learning it, or way too simple- like premiere pro rush in which you can't even pan, or use more than a handful of clips. I'm sorry I ever gave any of my time to CC, and I will not be renewing. There are much more user-friendly programs out there.

Premier Pro is used by studio industry professionals.  It's not aimed at the consumer level user.  Becoming proficient with pro-level software is like learning to play a musical instrument.  It takes time, patience, dedication and practice, practice, practice.

A better choice for you would be Premier Elements -- a lighter version of Premier Pro without all the fancy bells & whistles (approx $100, no subscription required).  See links below for details.
