When i place an image (originally vector art from Adobe Illustrator) from CC libraries into Powerpoint, the image has a very bad resolution (blurry). Please can this be fixed also? I was so happy that after 2 years the add-in finally was working after an update.
Howdy TT Leudsen, my teammate figured out a very inuintuitive workaround.
Locally export your object(s) as an .svg
Add the .svg(s) to the CC Desktop Application Library (it will not work from the Illustrator Libraries Window)
Right click the object(s) and select "Place as vector"
I hope Adobe fixes this soon, as this roundabout method makes the purpose of the Library Window useless. It's easier to download offline copies of .svg's and insert them manually over using the PPT extension.
Thanks for reaching out! We're sorry to hear about this. Could you please try signing out and signing back in the CC library add-in to check if that helps? Is it happening with all images? Please ensure the Creative Cloud Desktop app is updated.
Also, Check PowerPoint’s compression settings (File > Options > Advanced > Image Size and Quality) and disable automatic compression.
It is happening with all images (vectorfiles) in CC libraries. The panel shows the assets in very light colors, it looks like they are not clickable/draggable, but they are. You can see it in my attached image. I checked Powerpoint compression settings and they are good. The desktop CC Cloud app version is 6.5.0.348 and i restarted my PC and all apps.
