CC not syncing art files gone

I was working in a fresco file, and wanted to find an older sketch to use as a reference-- when i went to go find it I found all my work other than what was opened in the last few days was gone. All of it. I tried to get into the cloud app and it didn't do anything - it won't even finish spinning.  I have gone to the browswer version  https://assets.adobe.com/cloud-documents and it's also spinning.

 

i can see most of my art files on the mobile app under files recent, but that's not everything.

 

I am signed in under the correct account. Everything was working yesterday and then fresco updated.

This is a new development.

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
