CC Student Pricing Increase

Question

A few weeks ago I got an email to verify my education status if I wanted to continue having the Student and Teacher discount:

"You’ll automatically switch to a base plan for graduates at US $359.88/yr when your education pricing expires on 01-July-2022 (PT). [...] If you’re still a student or teacher and would like to continue to receive discounted education pricing for your current membership, verify your education status here before 01-July-2022 (PT)."

After sending in my document, I got confirmation that they verified my student status. But I was still charged $359.88/yr compared to last year when I was charged $239.88/yr. Why did I get the same pricing for graduates when I verified that I'm still in school? Is this because the previous year had promotional price?
