Change computer name in creative cloud

So when I sign into my creative cloud sometimes. It says I reached my limit, sign out of one to continue. I have 3 computers this is fine. Forever its always just says computer name then random numbers and letters, then how long it's been activated.

Is there a way to change the name shown from random numbers to "work computer", "personal computer", "Laptop"? If not.... why is that not a thing?

If you log-in to your online account, you can deactivate one of your 3 devices.

Technically, only two devices can be activated simultaneously.

However, you can use only one device at a time.

Hope that helps.

Ya, I understand that part. I'm asking how do I lable the computers to deactivate? As it only shows a random set of numbers and letters on the list to pick from. I always pick the wrong computer.

I just checked my computer's system settings to confirm this.

My PC's device name = the same device name in my Adobe Account.

Therefore, the names are not just random letters & numbers.  They're actually coming directly from OUR devices.

To rename your device on Windows:

  1. Select Start > Settings > System > About.
  2. Select Rename this PC.
  3. Enter a new name and select Next. You may be asked to sign in.
  4. Select Restart now or Restart later.

Hope that helps.
