Question

Cloud Base

I am finding that even though I save multiple times, when the cloud crashes or there is a connectivity issue, my file crashes, and I get a 'Recovered' that loses the previous work.

I can see that it was much more stable and much less rework when we had standalone licenses on our own machines.  This cloud-based stuff is a mess...running Photoshop and Illustrator and Premiere for almost three decades now.

Adobe apps do not run in the Cloud; they are installed and run on your desktop. It's optional if you save files to the Cloud or to your desktop. In Photoshop, for instance, files saved in the Cloud have a .psdc extension. It saves automatically so you would not be "saving multiple times".

Can you clarify your issue? Are you saving files to the Cloud or to your desktop?

We can move your post to the PS, AI, or PP forum for you if it is you if you are not saving to the Cloud, as something else may be going on.

The applications are still running on your machine.

You only need to be connected to the internet every 30 days for a license check.

So whatever is happening to you is probably caused by something else.

don't save files in the cloud if you have problems.  save them locally.
