So if I'm shooting a film and I use a shot showing the character using Photoshop will I be sued or will I have to pay Adobe in my returns?

Photoshop logo and brand are protected the same as Coke or BMW.

I don't think so, but you may want to consult an attorney.

Assuming that Photoshop was being used legally, it seems to me to be similar to making a tutorial and broadcasting it.

I am not, however, an attorney and am not qualified to give legal advice.

I think you need to ask a lawyer... people here can't give legal advice

MY thought (I am not a lawyer) is that filming a computer screen is not the same as letting someone use your license

But, as I said, you should ask a lawyer
