Creative Cloud App shows an "Upgrade Now" button and blocks all other functionalities in the app

Hey there, 

I am just here to express my frustration about the current black friday sales popup in my creative cloud app. It shows me this large popup wiith a special offer and only one button "Upgrade Now" and that's it. I can't access any settings for apps or update apps through the creative cloud app right now. 
I hardly get angry about things but this is SO annoying. Like what in the world are they thinking?
Is this a bug? I can only click upgrade in the app and it takes me to the Adobe website. That's all I can do in the creative cloud app today.

    Hopefully it will go away after Black Friday.

      you're not alone.  others have reported this, too (while most of us do not see that banner).

       

      i don't know whether any suggested solutions have worked (though it's not unusual for user to follow a suggestion, have it work and then fail to return to the forums and acknowledge what worked).

       

      one thing for sure is that the cc desktop app doesn't need to be used for app useage and for file syncing.
