Question

Creative Cloud background processes are slowing my computer

I'm using a Dell Latitude 5289 with Windows 11. It's not the fastest computer anymore, but it generally runs okay.

Adobe CC background processes, however, have rendered it unusable. It is not enough to disable Adobe startup applications. The GPU is forced to restart every few minutes, and the fans are constantly spinning. Creative Cloud apps are basically unusable when the background processes are enabled. Only if I go into task manager and quit each Adobe related process does the computer (and ironically Creative Cloud) become usable again.

Can you post a screenshot of Task Manager when this is happening?

What are the specs of the computer?

Generally these processes don't appear to be consuming much at all. This screenshot shows a brief spike in consuming resources.
