Creative cloud error message - I do not have it installed but need to install it to fix it but am no

This message appears constantly and interrupts my work and lapotp use. It is extremely frustrating but it appears that the only way to get rid of it is to download the application and pay for it to then remove it. I am not willing to do this and need to know how to fix it.

 

"Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem.  However, it is missing or damaged. Please download and install a new copy of the Creative Cloud from 'http://www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp'."

We're sorry for the trouble. We checked your account details and found that you do not have any active subscription with Adobe. When do you get this error?

Could you share more details?

Hi there,
I get this error notification constantly at least twice day and I use my laptop most of the day working. I understand that I do not have an account but I think I may have signed up for a free trial at some point last year which I did not wish to continue. Please could you let me know what other actions I can take in order to stop this notification from interrupting my work daily.
