Creative Cloud Files (archived) (x)

Hello,

I have 11 of these folders.

One gets created each day.

What is the purpose of these and how do I stop their creation?

it's a backup (to preserve your files) in the event you uninstall cc, and i don't think you can prevent its creation.

Why would you need a backup of what's on the local drive if its on the cloud?

Installations on other machines for this same account do not have the (archived) folders.

And why are there so many of them (11 at last count)?

Also, each archived folder has different contents.
