Creative Cloud Files & Local Disk C Storage

Hello, wanted to have more understanding / look for options on this issue.
We are encountering that the Files from our Creative Cloud Folder are taking up like 85% of the Storage in the C: Disk, making our storage to get very full super quick. My understanding is these are cloud services, is there any option or configuration for the CC Files to not take that space in the local disk? Kind of like in One Drive some files can be only stored in the cloud and not the actual local disk. I moved to a temporary laptop and many of my CC files can't synch because my storage full. Are there any workarounds? thank you!

    Especially for Premiere Pro and After Effects, you need a larger drive or an additional, fast drive.

    you can install cc apps on a non-os drive.

    What size is the C drive?

    Is it an SSD or HDD?

    Is that the only drive?

    What types of files?

    Which Adobe apps do you use?

    Hello! The current disk is 236 GB, is a SSD. It is the only disk available. We mostly use: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere & After Effects. And files range from high resolution images & videos as well as complex graphics, vectors and the Adobe Programs working files.

    did you install all your cc apps on a different (from that ssd) hard drive?

     

    if not:

     

    1. uninstall the adobe programs that you want to move (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html)

     

    2. open the cc application, click upper left hamburger menu>file>preferences>apps>and change the install location (to a non-root folder on a local hard drive).

     

    3. install the programs you wanted to move.
