Creative Cloud Files Personal Account Folder Appears in Sidebar Mac

This began 2 days ago. A folder appears in the sidebar of every Finder window called "Creative Cloud Files Personal Account [myemail@xxxxxx.com] and a long series of numbers@AdobeID". I can remove it from the sidebar but it keeps reappearing after restarting or sleeping. I keep my sidebar very organized for my workflow and this is incredibly intrusive. Anyone know why it's occuring and how to elimate it permanently?

Mac Sonoma 14.3

Creative Cloud 6.1.0.587

another user reported deleting the renamed cc sync folder (after moving files if anything wanted is there), removed the mac sidebar problem.

same here, very annoying. i barely have to use Illustrator,  so i'm about to cancel my subscription to "fix" this issue.

it's overkill, but don't add to my sidebar favorites without permission, Adobe.

i move the folder from my User folder to the trash and then deleted it.  fingers crossed that works.

Beginning Feb 1, 2024, the Creative Cloud Files folder will no longer be hidden when you sign out of Creative Cloud. The folder will be renamed to Creative Cloud Files + <account type> + <profile_name> + <email> + <GUID> (for example: Creative Cloud Files Personal Account email@abc.com ####@AdobeID). You can rename the folder as you see fit.

Thank you, but this folder will be in my way even though I've never stored files on the cloud?

Also, renaming it does not work. The folder continually changes back to the long string of rubbish.

Maybe if you stop Syncing in the Creative Cloud app?
