Question

Creative Cloud Libraries Automatically adding unwanted assets into library?

I use multiple programs at work everyday inlcuding photoshop, illustrator, and indesign. I do alot of illustration work obviously in illustrator then bring it over into photoshop to continue work on said project. But everytime i copy something over into photoshop or viceversa, it will automatically add that file/image into the current library i have opened. Is there a way to fix this? After a week or two i have tons of unwanted assets in the wrong libraries that i have to manual go in to delete.

Hi Jasonh,

When pasting from Illustrator/InDesign to Photoshop, do you get the dialog that asks if you want the pasted item to be added to the Cloud Library?

See this article which has a screenshot of the dialog -- Error: This item is not directly editable in Photoshop

If you uncheck the add to current library checkbox that should not link it to your Libraries, but embed the pasted content into the file.

Hope this helps, let us know how it goes.

Regards

Pete
