Creative Cloud no longer syncs on older versions of OSX

Sigh. Latest update to Creative Cloud Desktop app has caused older versions of Mac OSX to no longer sync files. Works on Mojave, High Sierra and Sierra. Won't work on El Capitan back to Mavericks.

If you are going to break these things regularly could you at least post a download link for the previous version of Creative Cloud desktop so people can downgrade to the last working version or better still don't allow the update to go through on non-compatible versions. Or even better still, TEST the updates on all versions of OSX BEFORE you release them to make sure they work. Multi-billion dollar company like Adobe. How hard could that be? Remember, your customers pay you for this woeful product and service.

Hi,

Thanks for reporting the issue.

Would you be able to collect and upload log files from your system?

Here is a link to an article about the tool with a link to download it.

Log Collector Tool

The tool will create a zip file on the desktop of all the log files. Please could you send us your logs (punaggar@adobe.com) using the tool.

Also, can you please share your Creative Cloud sync version specified in the Preferences tab?

Engineering may have some additional questions but this will help us get started.

Thanks,

Puneet Aggarwal
