Question

Creative cloud processes start despite my disabling it.

Even though I have configured creative cloud not to launch on login and not to automatically keep up to date, I can still see in the task manager that many creative cloud processes are running. I have also configured the process not to run in task manager startup. Do I need to uninstall to stop this happening and reinstall every time I need to use Photoshop or Lightbox or is there something I am missing?

Version: Photoshop 24.2.1, Creative Cloud: 5.10.0.573

Platform: Windows 11. Up to date as of March 2023

there's no adobe setting that prevents the background processes from running.  https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/adobe-background-processes.html
