Creative Cloud requires reinstallation every few days

Every few days a popup window generated by Creative Cloud informs me that I have to reinstall Creative Cloud.

This has been occuring for months.

I only use Adobe Acrobat DC Pro.

I don't want to install any other Adobe products, and Adobe support is useless.

How do I install only Adobe without being hit up a few days later to repair/install Creative Cloud.

something on your computer (eg, av, antimalware, cleaner, defragger etc) is corrupting one or more cc files.
