Creative Cloud selectively will not sync my files in Symbolic Link folder

I recently created a new folder inside my Creative Cloud Files folder via Windows Symbolic Link. (The actual folder is in another location is on the same drive). I did this so that I could sync the original folder via Subversion to a subversion server.

Creative Cloud will not sync anything I put into the symlink'ed folder. However, it will sync files that my colleagues put into their Creative Cloud interfaces.

Any idea how I can fix this? CC won't even sync files that I "upload" from another location into the Cloud version of the folder. It would seem that if my interface will sync files that others put into the folder, it should (at least) sync files I put into the Cloud copy of the folder via the "upload" action.

The first question I would ask is about your symbolic link. Is it a "soft" or a "hard" symbolic link.

Looking to try this myself and see if Creative Cloud will still sync the files.  Going to try a "hard" symbolic link as I suspect that will be more likely to succeed.
