Creative Cloud storage empty after going from student licence to individual plan

Hello, up until a week ago, the account I used was the one provided by my school, but connected to my personal e-mail address. This license seems to have expired now, so I bought my own individual plan - with the same e-mail address.
Now I realise that all of my cloud documents are gone. It seems by setting up the new account, everything got wiped.

Is there any way to get my files back?

Hello, I have a similar problem. In my case, I have already finished my education but kept using my account made available by my school - now it has expired. I purchased my own individual plan directly after this, with the same e-mail address (my personal address) and now, even though it is treated as being the continuation of my account, my files are all gone.
