Creative Cloud Syncing Issue After Migrating Data to Different SSD
Today I changed my creative cloud files folder location through the use of File>Preferences>Syncing, which transferred everything to a new drive. Everything transfered successfully. I have done this process in the past and faced no problems.
However, now creative cloud is syncing every file in that folder even though it is already downloaded. After the file is synced, I can see no change to the file on my computer or on the cloud, and therefore assume it is replacing one with the other one at a time, even though my local copy and the cloud copy are identical.
I have left my computer on all day today and only got through 200 of around 1900 files syncing, whilst it is slowing my internet down to a crawl due to the download/upload (unsure which is occurring).
This problem is affecting syncing any new files added to the cloud as it is added to over a 1000 file long list of files being synced. Is there a way to tell creative cloud that it no longer needs to sync certain files as they are all already on my pc locally in the creative cloud folder, just syncing again? I have searched but cannot find anything apart from pausing the syncing temporarily, or changing the file location again and possibly restarting the syncing process from the beginning.
I have so far tried restarting the computer, relogging into my creative cloud account, terminating the process and just trying to wait it out. At the rate of download, I will need around just over a week to finish syncing with it impacting my work for that long. I have work arounds at the moment through google drive and downloading the file off of creative cloud manually into another folder. However, the impact on my internet speed whilst syncing is difficult to ignore for that long, especially with it affecting others in the building with me taking it up.
Thank you for your time. If any extra information is needed, I will reply as fast as I can during the day.
