Over the last 6 months, maybe more, My cursor freezes at times on my computer.  Windows 10 Pro, up to date version.  Adobe Creative Cloud.  When I go into Windows Task Manager, if I delete the Creative Cloud UI Helper than I get my cursor back.  Please FIX YOUR SOFTWARE.

Thank you.  I'll try this.  Is there a way to stop Adobe from stealing resources, which causes other applications to wait?  I'd like to lower the priority of Adobe Creative Cloud and Helper and tell them that they can't have 100% of the resources when it does get them.

Thanks for your response. Let us know if the above-shared link helps to resolve the issue. Also, could you please elaborate more when you say "Is there a way to stop Adobe from stealing resources, which causes other applications to wait?".

If you're referring to the Adobe Background processes, check this article and let us know if that helps: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/adobe-background-processes.html

Hi @pamelap72687770,

We're sorry to hear about your difficulties. Would you mind sharing the version of the Creative Cloud Desktop Application you're using? Please ensure you're using the updated version of the application. When exactly does the cursor freezes?

Also, check if you do not have any pending updates for your operating system. Please try uninstalling and reinstalling the Creative Cloud Desktop App via the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner tool. Here is the link:https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

Let us know if that helps.

Regards,

Tarun
