Deleting original files of fonts after uploading to Creative Cloud

Question

I am looking for a way to store my fonts (that I have downloaded from various places) that does not take up so much room on my computer. I was wondering, if I upload fonts to Creative Cloud and then delete the original files from my computer, will the fonts remain accessible in Creative Cloud?

You still need a backup. Don't believe the mistaken hype that if you use the Cloud then backups don't matter any more. In this case you would lose the font files, so DON'T delete the local fonts!!
