Deskop cloud files not syncing with CC mobile

On my desktop in the CC I have several cloud docs I want to view and save to my phone but my cloud files aren't syncing with the mobile app. Is there something else I have to do or is this a strange issue?

check that you're signed into the cc mobile app with the same id used in your desktop app.
