Disable auto-save for individual uploaded assets into Cloud files

I work with a local library of assets. While Adobe Express is a very useful tool for quick asset creation without having to open up the bloat that is Photoshop where its home screen alone takes a while to load after booting up, mindboggling choices of the Express app keep slowing my productivity all around.

At some point within the past year, Adobe Express started to add every asset I use in my creations into my cloud storage by default. This not only regularly clogs up my cloud storage, but it also fills up my “Recent” list in Photoshop Desktop, by pushing my actual local PSDs out of the recents I regularly use. 

There is absolutely no reason for Adobe to automatically add every single individual asset I add to my Express projects, so I want to disable this “feature” forced upon me, that is causing numerous additional problems all across my different workflows, reaching outside of Express alone.
