Downloading creative cloud app

I've recently downloaded the creative cloud app with a lot of files on it and my computer is now showing that it is full. I thought this app was storage off your computer space and am not sure if I have downloaded it wrong...I don't mind if I can't access files when offline. 

Could anyone help on this?

Creative Cloud file storage is NOT a replacement for ample hard disk space.  Please ensure your computer meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements to install & run Creative Cloud + OS + all other apps you use.  Check each one.

Cloud is a marketing and distribution term... all programs install on your computer drive the same as the old ones that came on a DVD
