Hi there,

We're sorry about the trouble. Would you mind telling us when exactly are you getting this error? Which version of the operating system and the Creative Cloud Desktop Application are you using? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far? We're here to help, we just need some info.

Thanks for your patience.

Regards,

Tarun

I'm getting the error when I do anything involving an update/installation. I've only been able to get photoshop installed since that installed alongside Creative Cloud. But after having to use Creative Cloud to install everything, I've been getting errors like this back to back. It's probably because I've been trying to move everything to my other drive, and no matter what I do it just keeps making files in the C drive. Because Creative Cloud wanting to be in my C drive so much it's getting real messy.

you can't move the cc desktop app off the c-drive.  and it must install ancillary files on your c-drive.

the only thing you can move to another (non-root folder of a) drive, are the applications installed by the cc desktop app.

if you've manually moved or deleted files from your c-drive, you need to either restore them or try a clean re-install of the cc desktop app.

right now, don't do anything unless you can accurately restore the files you moved or deleted.  if you need to do anything else, what is it so you can get specific help and not make things worse than they are now.  (although you may have already caused enough problems that  you'll need to reinstall your os and then reinstall your adobe and other programs.)

if you need help moving the programs installed by the cc app,

1. uninstall the adobe programs that you want to move (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html)

2. open the cc application, click file>preferences>apps>and change the install location (to a non-root folder on a local hard drive).

3. install the programs you wanted to move.
