Error message from adobe portfolio

Hello,

I'm getting the message:

This field must be a valid URL and may not contain less than signs (<) or greater than signs (>)"

 

However my link is perfecrtly valid and does not contain either of those:

Adobe Portfolio accepts only valid URLs, no special characters allowed.

By way of example:  This is a valid URL format  https: // domain . com / some_link.html  (without spaces).

 

If you're struggling with an excessively long URL, run it through Tiny URL to shorten it before you bring it into Portfolio.

you're concatenating a (spam?) url at the end of your valid url.

 

to remedy, go to the page you want to reference, copy that url and then paste it where you want to use that url, even better delete everything after the id  number
