File disappeared from Creative Cloud

Our team has lost an InDesign file from Creative Cloud. It is not in the trash. This is really unsettling since many of our files are on creative cloud. If CC is supposed to be stable and secure, why are files vanishing? 

We checked all deleted files in creative cloud folder and the file is not there. This is really unacceptable.  InDesign seems like a complete mess lately.

    We're sorry to hear about your difficulties. Would you mind telling us if the file was lost from the Creative Cloud web or the Creative Cloud Desktop files and folder? The file which disappeared was shared with others using the collaboration feature? Did you make any changes right before it happened?
