Google Analytics in Adobe Portfolio [Branched from old topic]

I think Adobe Portfolio is a disaster. I recently set up a portfolio with it and the support team either reels off standard responses or doesn't respond at all. I discovered that Google Analytics is not implemented in a policy compliant way (and doesn't work in Europe), which no one seems to care about. This means that Adobe doesn't care if a feature related to arguably the most important tech company in the world doesn't work.

@imaginaldi,

Please elaborate on what you mean by a non-compliant way for Europe.

The field for entering your Google Analytics Tracking Code is in Portfolio settings.

Invoke Portfolio's Cookie Banner module.  GA won't begin tracking until users accept the Cookie Policy.

To verify site ownership, create a Custom Meta Tag.

Increasingly, webmasters are avoiding Google Analytics anyway for good reasons.

Here is more info about using it in Adobe Portfolio:

Thanks for another useless answer. I'm getting used to it.

Well, you didn't actually ask a question – and this is a user-to-user forum anyway, not Adobe Support.

Do you have a specific question that fellow users here can help you with? This is the place to post customer feedback and suggestions for Adobe Portfolio:
