HELP - Account Locked after trying to log in for first time

So, I am taking a Photoshop course in college and had to purchase Photoshop for the class. I bought my subscription, downloaded the application, and messed around with it for a short time. I went to log into it today to work on an assignment and was asked for a verification code that was sent to my email address, however, I never received the email. I went to try and log in on the website and it informed me that the account was locked due to multiple failed log-in attempts, even though I never got past the verification code requirement. I don't know how long I will be locked out of my account and need to get back in for my class. I even had to go as far as to use a second account to post this as I cannot log into my account on ANY Adobe site or application.
