How do I delete photos from the Adobe cloud but not from my device?

Hello all. I have the Adobe Photography Plan (20GB) and mostly use Lightroom Classic CC. I was recently notified that I am out of cloud storage. I realized that all of my photos that I was taking with my iPhone were being synced to my Adobe cloud storage. I turned this off for the future, but I still need to clear out storage space in my Adobe cloud. When I go to delete a photo, that scary box comes up that says it will be deleted on all my Synced devices. I'm pretty sure the photos are all on my computer/phone (I also use Apple photos and have iCloud storage), but I'm afraid that since they are "synced devices", that they will be deleted! Help!
