How do I transfer my files back to my business profile?

A few days ago when I logged into my account like I normally do, I was asked to pick a personal or business profile. I had never encountered that before and didn't know what to choose, and couldn't get past that screen without picking one, so I finally clicked on personal profile. That is where the nightmare began.

 

Apparently my personal profile was an unpaid profile and I couldn't access any of my paid apps on it. Navigating back to the paid profile was a complex process that took hours to figure out. Once I got back to my business account I discovered that all of my files and libraries were now associated with the unpaid personal profile and I can't access them on the paid profile anymore.

 

Now I'm trying to migrate them back and it's impossible. I've followed the instructions I've found for Manual Asset Transfer but it's not working. No matter what I do, those files are stubbornly associated with my personal profile.

 

Has anyone had this problem and found a way to fix it?

I'm experiencing this exact problem. I have an Adobe Enterprise account through my university and a personal account that I no longer pay for. When Adobe prompted me to store my files on either enterprise or personal account (it has never asked me  this in the past 2 years I've used the Enterprise account), I accidentally selected to store them on the personal account. Now, when I sign into assests.adobe.com for my personal account it does not show the files there at all. How do I recover them and transfer to the personal account?

Hi @MEILI5FDE,

 

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties with your profile and file associations. Do you have a Teams or an Enterprise account? Have you tried the steps mentioned in this article:- https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/transfer-assets.html? Could you please tell us what exactly is not working while you migrate files from another account? 

 

We're here to help, just need some more info.

I have the exact same issue as MEILI5FDE. I realize that I can download the files from my personal profile and upload them to the enterprise profile, however, this would mean that I lose the file history/versions and I would have to reinvite all my team members to each file.
I also don't have access to files that have been shared with me, which is a big problem.
