How Much Money Could Adobe Possibly be Saving By Discontinuing Creative Cloud Files?
I guess this is old news, or I missed the first notification of this. Today, I received an email from Adobe telling me in two weeks they will delete the thousands of files I have in Creative Cloud Files. When I called Adobe, the support desk told me to ignore it and that my files are safe.
When I finally got to a person at Adobe who acknowledged they were discontinuing Creative Cloud Files, they told me I could use a third party, or Frame.IO, which is owned by Adobe. When I linked my account to Frame.IO, the free version only allows me to have 5 projects. Five. 5 projects.
To get unlimited projects, I have to pay Adobe another $15/month.
This is completely ludicious and clearly a cash grab for Adobe. They discontinue something that has been vital to my workflow for years (working between my personal computer, work computer, and tablet) and force me to pay them more money to get an inferior product.
I'm disgusted.
Anyone use Affinity or another adjacent product that's worthwhile?
