How to correct misspelled name of major hard drive after importing all the images?

I have inadvertantly mispelled the name of my major hard drive which holds all my imported images. I would like to correct the spelling with out having to reimport all those images.

Can it be done? How?

stop/pause file syncing in the cc app

rename your drive on your local computer

change your sync folder in the cc app to match the rename.

unstop file syncing in the cc app
