Question

How to reduce the number of files I have in the Cloud.

Whenever I delete images in Lightroom, it doesn't matter how many I delete, the size of my cloud content remains the same (which is over my limit).  Why might this be?

Hi @geordie99

It could be due to other files, not just those in Lightroom. See this post for additional details.

Also, Lightroom also has a deleted files area, which might need to be emptied to release the space

Hope that helps,
Dave

Thanks so much for your response.
I was sitting at 1gb over my limit.
I've just gone in and permanently deleted over 100 deleted files which were
on average 20mb each. My cloud storage then went to 0.3gb over my limit,
then almost immediately back to 1gb over.
This tells me it must be syncing to somewhere. Would you know how I can
tell a)where it is syncing to b)how to stop syncing?

Thanks again for your help.

sorry for the late reply.  and i don't know what you can do to limit syncing.

but why don't you delete a file and then watch to see if it's "restored'.
