Question

I can't figure out what is taking so much space in my Cloud storage. Is there a way to get a breakdown?

As far as I can tell, my Lightroom library should be less than 40GB, which is where I assume the bulk of my storage is taken, but I’m told that I’ve used almost all of my 120GB storage. I know that I do have a few photoshop files that take a little space, but I don’t think even 1 GB, but I can’t figure out any way to see how my storage is being used. I’ve deleted all of my deleted files and images, and it still says I’m using around 3 times what I believe I’m using. Maybe I’m mistaken, but is there a way to look at file which apps or file types are taking so much space? I hate to delete even more images only to save a few gigabytes, when the difference is so huge.

Thanks. I did have some stray files that I’d forgotten to delete from that folder, but only a few.

sure.  it’s not easy to check all the places files can be located.

Thanks. Feeling a little dumb, but can’t figure out any easy way to see file sizes other than downloading the files one at a time and checking the file sizes on my laptop. I feel like I must be missing something. I guess it’s possible that one of the files, like the odd Rush or old Spark Video file might contain assets that are huge, but you’d think there would be a way to view these files in a Finder or browser list with file sizes. I’m almost certain that the bulk of my storage is taken up by my Lightroom library, but even my backup of the library totals less than 40 GB, so it’s a little concerning.

I had some indexing issues related to photos recently and I was thinking that there might be some block of my storage that has file size errors or corruption…. I’ve deleted everything from the deleted folder, and I guess I”ll delete more, but it seems a shame to have to do that when I’m paying for 120 GB of storage, which is much larger than anything I’ve required before. I’ll just change my subscription for more storage, but hoped I could be sure this wasn’t an error.
